Honestly it's . He already has OVO Sound down, he seems to have a great eye for talent considering the fact that he took Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd out on tour before they blew up, and he signed 40 and Boi-1da as producers. Drake has the connections and relationships, he's tight with Jay, he has a mentor in Birdman. He's a generally likeable dude, he's always in multiple cities, he's smarter than a lot of these guys, and he's already caked plenty off the rap game so he has good mogul startup money.

What have any of these ppl done to even hint that they will be able to branch out beyond music to reach mogul status. They have longevityin the music game but thats about it. Anything is possible but they are bringing up the rear in this race. In my.opinion.. If you know different, educate me please.

This is more about who in the industry can be clever enough to appeal to the masses beyond music. Who can get close to the right ppl and capitalize. Clothing, liquor, energy drinks, pro sports teams, etc. Nothing to do with ppl being tired of hip hop.

Drake is the closet one. That clothing line/ liquor/ sports teams shyt is beyond tiring to the general public, that hears it from rappers all the time years ago.
