yea it's sad. it's so easy to pass that there's little point in running. if i was a GM i'd build my team as a run 1st because 1. if everybody's built to stop the pass... and 2. i just love the running game.
CFB>>>>>NFL

Skraight smash mouth. I'd get me a black QB and run the option on they ass all day. :myman:

Nah you're over dramatizing it. Look how important the run game is for teams like the Cowboys, Seahawks and the Texans. Without Foster our record is something like 2-15. Last year without him we couldn't beat the jags. Marshawn put the 'Hawks on his back and won a superbowl last year. Your niners aren't as effective this year, because Gore hasn't been used as effectively as the past. The fukking COWBOYS are NFC champ contenders because of how valuable Demarco is. And players like Jamal, Foster, and Forte are so effective as pass catchers that I'd say they are top 15 offensive players in the league. You have a few anomalies like the Packers a few years ago, but for the most part a team needs a running game to be effective. Even the Broncos had that one dude last year. This year since he went to the dolphins they aren't looking as threatening, even though as a whole their team is much stronger

we eatin over here tho in college football. Some teams have 2-3 dynamic running backs. :takedat:

This is the one thing that CFB has over the NFL

along with more dynamic offenses, louder & more passionate fans, and the week to week games meaning more....other than that you're right :leon:

I'm glad laveon dropped that weight this off season, if your over 225-230 trying to play running back in the NFL and cant plays in the pass game your chances of getting drafted are pretty slim.

inferior athletes and no true playoff system

other than that doe:lolbron:

inferior athletes who just 2-3 months after their final college game are hoped to be the cornerstone of NFL franchises.

Try again though.

are you really trying to argue that college in general has far inferior athletes ? :what:

even the biggest colleges send like 4-5 players in the draft, and if shyt falls right maybe one of them will be a 'cornerstone'

all that elite athleticism being squandered:snoop:

it's especially sad because the rb position is what got me into the game as a young one:mjcry:
eddie george *ricky williams*priest holmes*jamal lewis*edge*l.t.*all the dope late 90's early 00 backs

at this point I've matured and I look at sports as an investment
you get about 10 years of prime athleticism before andropause docks your explosiveness

for all my 6ft+++ homies pick up the point guard position
for all my sub 6fters find a place on the pitch(world football/soccer)

get$$$$$$ righteously
instead of getting fukked for comparative chump change

rbs have the shortest career average and the lowest salary for skilled offensive position:scust:*

it's literally not worth it anymore:to:*

A RB has to be a good receiving back to really make noise in the league
Forte''s caught like 68 and I doubt more than 15% traveled 6+ yards in the air
