The NFL needs to change the OT rules again(Rule Changed)

I gotta admit, the team winning the coin toss winning 10 of the last 11 playoff games (with 7 winning on the first drive) is impossible to ignore.

Sure it’s a small sample size, but we all know winning the toss is an advantage even if it’s not that much of an advantage. The rule changes to favor the offense take a bit of the oomph out of the “Do your job, Defense!” stance too.

I doubt it.

A lot of people won't be satisfied unless they get something that sets both teams to get the ball an equal number of times.
If they went to OT, traded TDs, then KC scores a 3rd TD, same complaints gonna pop up again.

less of an argument then. besides that's basically the rule now. Teams can trade fgs and then kick another fg to win it. There's really no good reason game should end on an offensive td on the opening possession.

We’re talking about the OT rules. Neither team “took care of business” in regulation. Yet one team in each of those games got a significant advantage simply because of the flip of a coin.

Of course the Bills should have had the game on lock with 13 seconds to go no matter what but it's still bad optics on the league when one team doesn't get a single possession on offense in overtime. It needs to be changed imo
