Bro have you ever played football . No damn coach wants to risk any player that way. The depth chart is there for a reason and each player matters. Its the NFL. All players touch the field in some capacity. If a special teams guy gets hurt, now a starter or rotational guy has to take his spot on special teams and risk further injury. Its a guarantee that the top 4 speedy guys on every team are pretty damn important to the team. Jesus Christ

There’s three phases of football.

The Bills had the number 1 defense in the league and the chiefs have a mid to average defense. For the past week that’s why all these media analysts said Josh Allen would win.

Buffalo defense didn’t stop Pat at all.

Bills special team let Tyreek run all over them on two punt returns cause the first one got called back.

I don't think "number one" defense means much in this offense favored league. The rules swung too far in the O's favor.

If your defense is so bad and note the Bills had the number defense in the NFL that it can't stop a team from going up and down the field you deserve to lose

When you play to a tie in regulation
The next score needs to decide the game
There does not need to be another opportunity for the team to score to prolong the game
They let the game go to OT this is now a sudden death situation

Coin toss goes against you
You need your defense to hold together

I notice all this OT anger was never a thing when the Patriots and Brady have been winning almost exclusively because of the way they rules are now

alright. be happy losing a coin flip then. i didnt mean special teams specifically...there are guys on teams who might be speedsters but are low on the depth chart as well. it could be anyone

As a neutral fan you cant let a game end like this. Same thing happened to pat against tom. Each team should be guaranteed 1 posession unless its turnover. A coin flip shouldnt determine your fate

That’s the truth. Chiefs actually wanted both teams to have the ball. Wasn’t a problem when the entire rest of the league shut it down, but today it’s a problem.
