Now, I know it's not that loose fitting garbage you pick up at your neigborhood Burlington Coat Factory, but there definitely is real value, social value, in having enough style to pull a shirt like that off as well as I do.

The racial makeup is equivalent to Denmark, yet I don't continuously make threads about my personal successes and calling other people bums or poor or uneducated. I want to like him but the Nigerian makes himself a polarizing figure and an easy target.

I have trouble with your notion that he is somehow a rare commodity and that it takes some kind of social training to hang with whites. One shouldn't have to downplay their culture to appease others. i think that's my point. these black people who look with shock at the sight of a black having white friends are the ones who place whites on pedestals. i have no problem talking to and hanging out with whites. i do it all the time.
