Awkward?
Um... Black folks need to get over themselves hardcore. Look at the people in this thread... flipping out because of a shirt that I wore, or flipping out over the word "Black," flipping out about the potential of being called the n-word behind your back, flipping out over incorrect glances, flipping out over neighborly behavior, flipping out about every little thing that irks their delecate sensibilities. It's fvcking pathetic.
Blacks can't even engage in meaningful conversation about their own problems because of this mincing words due to sensitivity bullsh!t. It's like Blacks are societal BABIES!
Many Blacks, especially the least amongst us, are on some perpetualsh!t. That's real talk.

The Nigerian. Breh, this is what I am talking about. "Societal Babies"? Come on man. This is some white supremacist speech right here. I agree that blacks in America continuously sidestep important conversations, but calling a race of people "babies", your own race of people is disgusting. Honestly you remind me of this "Tom" I knew in college.
Him and I were the only two brothas in the College Republicans. We both worked on the campaign staff of a Senator. Now think about being on a PWI and being one of two black members in the College Republicans. This could be a potential
experience for me. But real recognize real. Everyone who knew me, the black Greek community, the pan-African brothas and sistas, knew what I was about and I was able to engage in an activity not culturally popular and still be myself. How many times have I talked about getting brothas and sistas to surf on here?
Now to "Tom". Tom made an effort to assimilate and use a disrespectful tone when talking to other members of his own race. He wore camo-hats with the fish hooks in them, cowboy boots, the whole get-up. It's one thing to dress like that but his speech and tone completed the package of a "Tom". Every time we would be on an outreach mission, getting Black Greek organizations to come out to a College Republican event, talking with local churches on voter registration, etc it would end like the scene from Scarface, where Tony, Sosa and Omar are having lunch and Omar is eventually isolated and killed.
It got to the point where I complained to the President and started working alone on my own contacts. It's also what led me to working for a now sitting Republican Senator. No one liked Tom because of his antics. You can't act a race, but dude would go out of his way. He was like Cowboy Troy.
He eventually got booted from a volunteer organization

You seem straight sometimes but then other times you resort to calling your own brothas and sistas "babies". Tough love is one thing but bashing is another.Sometimes debate gets heated but dude it really seems like you look down on people.
sh!t. That's real talk.

I never said I was currently in the Republican party. I'm a registered Independent. I was a member of the College Republicans and on a Senator's staff. The pay was great and it was a way to learn more about the election process. Also I don't view Republicans = racists and Democrats = Angelic angels. That mindset is exactly why the Democrats
at the black vote. That's an entirely different discussion.
. Like I said. I want to like you because I see some knowledge in your post, but you make it hard my dude. That will be your downfall.

at some of the things i am told by them. from outright "i'd prefer to be white" to "i don't want babies as dark as me"
