If I could rewind time , I wouldve been training up for tennis :manny:

Tried out freshman year but wasnt taking shyt serious

No way a black god cant excel at that sport and make that bread

No CTE, no concussions , just a bunch of cac tears
:blessed:

Got me a college scholarship and I started late. :blessed:

But tennis is VERY hard and don't let the Williams sisters fool you...they're literally tennis geniuses and they'd be elite even without their athletic abilities.

Tennis is probably the most humbling sport you can play. Even athletic phenoms like Gail Monfils (Who was a prodigal track and field star, Olympic bound, I think) can't really rack up bread like that despite being extraordinarily skilled in tennis too.

Its easier to make it in tennis than football

Maybe easier to make it in the world but not easier to actually make a living off of it.

Unless you're in the top 100 tennis players in the world, you're probably barely making even because it cost about $60 to $80 grand a year in expenses alone

Effectively superhuman.

I saw Brandon Jennings play and dude hit about 10 shots from 30 feet out...in a row. Picking pockets if you even thought about bringing the ball across your waist.

Dude was doing 360 dunks and behind the back dunks like it was absolutely nothing yet this nikka looks like barely average in the NBA.

I saw Durant poster a cat, in two steps, even though he had picked up the dribble behind the 3P line.

And they're strong and balanced...even skinny guys like Jamal Crawford can straight muscle through dudes when they try to plant their feet and make them bounce back.

It's crazy.

well duh....they practice for hours on hours everyday while the rest of the guys in the gym play 5 times a year

If you are over 6' and dedicated your chances dramatically improve.

There isn't much skill involved in making the NFL compared to the NBA or MLS. NFL is basically tall men abusing horse steroids.
Despite the fact that I'm willing to bet dollars everything you've never played at any level, especially a high one, I have to give you props. This comment upset me more than it should have. :ehh:

Just ignore the fact he is one of the best rugby players in the world tho
Nah, they don't include any facts. It's the only thing this corny narrative has going for it.

NFl money ain't shyt if you don't own the team, some of these nikkas go broke a year or two after leaving. Now NBA money :blessed:, of course you have the exceptions like Tom Brady who is a brand unto himself.

There isn't a single other sport I can think other than the NFL; that a individual who has never played it even at a young age making the professional grade. Do you think it is possible for someone who played a different sport their whole life could suddenly pick up football or basketball and play for Manchester United or The Knicks? Bro, there are millions if not billions of guys who play football and basketball their whole life but couldn't even make college soccer or college basketball.

NFL isn't even about skills, it a sport made for chemical engineers while the players are test subjects. Over 6'2 pump yourself with horse steroids and you will have an extremely strong chance of making it.

Sorry to burst the bubble brah :yeshrug:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The odds of making it in the NBA are a lot higher based on your height. If your a 6'4 8th grader your odds are much better. If your normal height and your parents top off at 6 feet you better hit those books.

Average height in the NBA is 6'7", there are tons of 6'4" 8th graders around the country right now that are never going to come close to the NBA.

More people around the world play basketball, it's much harder to make it to the NBA.

there are a lot of tall people who haven't made it, lol. NBA only has 400 people in the world, it is harrrrd to make it. NFL has a lot of injuries and you can be the replacement..with much bigger rosters. All pro-leagues are hard to make and you have to be a good player at the end of the day.

The dude was like "I can't imagine how good pro ball players are" and I was trying to paint a picture that they're pretty much superhumanly good at basketball because I've seen cats like that play.

It's hard to imagine because we're so used to comparing them to other superhumanly good or big athletes but a guy like Stephen Curry or Jamal Crawford would probably knock the wind clear out of your system if you tried to body them like Delladova did in the finals.

Which is why I could never understand how a dude like Delavadova could be in the league playing significant minutes

People need to attend a real game to see how good they are, tv doesnt do justice. Even some d2 player I saw live had me like :whew:.

It's true. Things like layups and hook shots look easy but when you realize how fast these guys are moving and the speed they're reacting, you be like :dwillhuh:

If you watch DeAndre or Blake in person, you be like :what: at how fast they get into the air and react to shyt because CP3 can throw alleys in the blink of an eye. You barely got time to register Chris don't have have the ball and these nikkas have jumped to max height in .5 seconds, caught the ball with one hand, and jam it down.
