Scream is my favorite horror franchise so I had fun with this but the reveal was kinda meh to me. They had two opportunities to take a risk that could’ve made it better imo.
1. I thought they were actually gonna let us see the killer from the beginning. It would’ve for sure been different from the scream formula but they could’ve built something with it.

the family didn’t do a thing for meThe movie was so fun, I am being lighter on the reveal, but truthfully, the movie didn't do a good enough job of letting the characters breathe, and introducing at least 2 or 3 solid suspects. You could ID the guilty by lack of options. I always though 2 & 3 did much better jobs of introducing suspects and killers than any of the later ones.

She saw chad get stabbed, kirby shot
process of elimination = Mindy
She could've suspected Danny but I think she kinda trusted him enough by then

Under no scenario should she trust Danny more than Mindy
Ghostface tossed Gale's Muscle Breh like Uncle Phil used to do JazzGale was dying to get a brother killed since Joel the cameraman in Scream 2. Didn't matter that he shot the Bingo Final. So it was no surprise that she was cracking jokes after her muscle bound black boyfriend got stealth killed.

One thing I didnt like was the lack of follow up attacks when they clearly had the advantage with a blunt object.

I saw this over the weekend and whilst I found it enjoyable, the anime level of endurance the characters had after getting stabbed was pissing me off. People should have been bleeding out and going into shock on a regular basis
