Ohio State has a prolific playmaker Michigan must scheme around if it wants any chance to win on Saturday.

That playmaker, Curtis Samuel, is the nation's only 500 yard rusher and receiver. On top of that, he is always one play away from breaking the big one. It's safe to say the Wolverines have a tall task ahead of them.

U-M senior cornerback Jourdan Lewis is expected to be all over the field on Saturday and will likely be tested for what seems like the first time all season. Lewis says that Samuel's athleticism and big play people make people forget how to cover people. He also considers him one of the better players in the conference.

"His athleticism, really, and people forget about their technique and things that got them there before when they're looking at a great athlete like that," Lewis said. "They just throw it all out the window and just like, 'let me get this guy covered,' and not think about their technique. That's one of the reasons why he is one of the best. He's so athletic and can get in and out of his breaks."

Will Lewis be well acquainted with Samuels on Saturday?

"I'm pretty sure I'm going to see him, I'm positive I'll see him."

The Buckeyes were able to do whatever it wanted on the ground last season thanks to quarterback J.T. Barrett and Ezekiel Elliott. Although Elliott is no longer with the program, the run threat still exists. Lewis says that the defensive line depth up front makes it easier for the rest of the team to prepare because they've been so good this season.

"Coach Brown emphasizes the run tremendously," Lewis said. "When you have guys like Taco Charlton, Wormley, Mo Hurst and all of those guys up front doing their job, it makes it harder on offenses to get in a rhythm. [The defense needs to] just prepare and know what they like to do and just continue to bring pressure and not succumb to the things they like to do. Just continue to do our thing and never change our philosophy."

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
