yeah, but sometimes teams will make offers out of spite or just to make a team call a bluff. like "fukk it, at least if we dont get him lets make okc overpay"

if 4 years 50 mil is considered fair for harden, i wouldnt be shocked if theirs teams who don't mind overpaying him an extra 2.5 mil per year

yea presti has to july 1st it'll be signed before that.

:scusthov: @ a coach's son having a form like that, but then again whoever is the shot coach for the Celtics must suck if you're looking at Rondo.

He needs to clean up his left hand on his shot, it's too far back and almost in front of his face so when he shoots his left hand is getting a bit of pushing action on it. I had the same problem with my shot when I was little but my father pointed it out to me, not that Im even remotely close to the same talent as him, he could easily clean that up if it's pointed out to him. His left hand just needs to be moved more to the side of the ball and away from his face. And of course, bring the right elbow in more.

If he doesn't fix that he'll never be a consistent shooter since there's no real control over what kind of spin or extra trajectory the left hand puts on the ball.

Boston wants Barnes?

During an appearance on Thursday evening, long-time Boston sports columnist Bob Ryan stated that the Celtics would like to trade up in the upcoming NBA Draft with aspirations of landing small forward Harrison Barnes.

Barnes, linked to the Cavaliers and their fourth-overall pick, is largely expected to be gone by the seventh selection when the Golden State Warriors are on the clock. The 6-foot-8-inch swingman had a largely disappointing sophomore season, but has seen his name amongst the top players to be taken come June 28th.

The Celtics presently own the 21st- and 22nd-overall selections in the draft and are expected to address the wing as well as the center position having been forced to give playing time to Ryan Hollins late in the 2011-12 season. The Charlotte Bobcats have long been rumored to be looking to move the second-overall selection, but are reportedly floating a heavy asking price.

If the Cavs and blazers swap picks remember the Cavs pick 4 and blazers 6.

1.Davis
2.Robinson
3.Beal/mkj
4. Drummond
5. Barnes/mkg
6. Cavs will take who is left between Barnes/beal/mkg

They can do that deal because they like both Barnes and Beal and one will be there. I don't see the wiz picking Drummond so he will last until 4 but won't make it past 5.

What's the deal with this Noah to kings for 5 and evans runor. Wouldnt a deng/Gibson/26 for evans/ salmon/5 make better sense. That will give the kings a legit lineup with a true sf and get rid of salmons horrible contract. The bulls would get a player who can be big time and honestly salmons was good last time in Chicago.

The new mock on nbadraft.net is such a joke. They have Drummond at 2, MKG at 5, and Beal at 7.

I thought that was considered to be a serious site...........

Sources continue to insist that the Charlotte Bobcats (2), Sacramento Kings (5), Portland Trail Blazers (6, 11) and Toronto Raptors (8) are all still open to moving the pick. Some of those trades could be with each other, but from what I can gather, none of the four teams I just mentioned are sold with the players that are available to them. In the case of the Bobcats, the team is looking to turn a high pick into multiple assets. The Raptors and Kings, as we've mentioned previously, are looking for veterans to anchor an already young roster. The Blazers? From what I can gather, they're open to anything and everything.

But the draft exodus may go even farther into the first round. Sources say that the New Orleans Hornets (10), Houston Rockets (14, 16) and Minnesota Timberwolves (18) are also open to moving their pick. In all three cases, those teams are looking for established young veterans to fill out their rosters.

My Pops Forever RIP
75% chance Minny trades that pick

98% chance Houston trades at least one of them

EDIT: 90% chance Minny doesn't stay at 18 if a person they like doesn't fall. They've been working out players mostly projected to be slotted well after their pick.
