I agree.a lot of these dudes that were supposed to make this a great draft shyt the bed and were exposed staying another year..

I love Davis but i dont know if hell ever become a great offensice player in the pros..i see him as a Camby type

:snoop:

WATCHED 85 PERCENT OF KENTUCKY GAMES. AND ASIDES FROM HIS DEFENSIVE CAPABILITIES HE'S NOTHING LIKE CAMBY ON OFFENSE

KENTUCKY USED HIM AS A HIGH SCREEN MAN ON DAMN NEAR EVERY PLAY TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR EVERYONE DUE TO HIS SIZE AND LENGTH..

BUT ANYTIME HE GOT INTO A ZONE WHERE HE WAS TAKING MIDRANGE JUMPERS, WHAT YOU SAW WAS AN EXTREMELY SMOOTH EXTREMELY REFINED FORM THAT WAS WET ALMOST EVERYTIME HE TOOK IT. AND I DONT MEAN SMOOTH FOR A BIG MAN, THE shyt WAS JUST SILKY AND SMOOTH AS HELL PERIOD. AND IN THE POST, HIS FOOTWORK WAS EXCELLENT AND HIS MOVES WERE GOOD, HE JUST DIDN'T HAVE THE STRENGTH TO DO IT CONSISTENTLY AND KENTUCKY DIDN'T GO TO HIM IN THE POST.

IT HELPS TO WATCH THE GAMES AND UNDERSTAND WHAT A TEAM IS DOING ON OFFENSE AND WHAT THEIR COACH LIKES TO DO RATHER THAN READING SCOUTING REPORTS AND GOING OFF HEARSAY

NOW I KNOW YOU'RE JUST TALKING shyt.

LIKE I SAID DEFENSIVELY THEY'RE EXTREMELY SIMILAR. BUT THAT'S ONLY HALF THE GAME.

THE OTHER HALF IS WHERE YOU'RE EXPOSING YOURSELF. BECAUSE MARCUS CAMBY HAS ZERO JUMPER, ZERO POST UP MOVES, ZERO FOOTWORK, ZERO OFFENSE AND NO SEMBLANCE OF ANY OF IT.

DAVIS HAS SHOWN NOT JUST FLASHES, BUT LONG STRETCHES OF BEING A KG LIKE DOMINANT FORCE ON OFFENSE INSIDE AND OUT. AND HE'S ONLY RAW OFFENSIVELY, IN THAT HIS STRENGTH HASN'T CAUGHT UP WITH HIS SKILLS, AND THAT KENTUCKY DID NOT REQUIRE HIM TO DO MUCH BUT SSET SCREENS FOR LAMB AND MILLER AND THEN ROLL TO THE BASKETBALL FOR LOBS AND CATCH MISSES. BUT WHEN THEY DID ALLOW HIM TO HANDLE THE BALL, HE MORE THAN EFFICIENTLY CREATED HIS OWN SHOT INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.

SO WATCH THE GOTDAMN GAME BEFORE YOU GIVE YOUR HALF ASSED ANALYSIS MY nikka

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
No offense bro, but judging by your posts, you just don't watch enough games if at all.
:what:

In the Same way that Demar is considered "talented", Nick Young was considered "talented"... Lottery Picks with Great Athleticism and seemingly nice jumpshots. But when you watch the games you see them for what they are, mediocre players with Great Athleticism. DEmar can't create for anyone else, and he only creates bad shots for himself and he doesn't finish well at the rim with all his athleticism. And Like I said who cares how he plays with Demar, because Demar is not a difference maker to wonder how his game will affect anyone, he's just another player on a bad team.

Young wasn't considered talented in the same way as Demar, the dude went 16th, and Demar fell to 9th because he didn't work out for the Twolves who were probably going to take him. Demar is far better than Young, have you watched some of the shots Nick puts up? This was Demars worst shooting season, and it would only rank 3rd worst for Nick, you cannot even compare the type of shots these dudes take or IQ. If Young were on the Raptors they'd be even worse if that were possible.

Elton Brand Had BOUNCE. I never said he was Blake Griffin explosive but he was a VERY good athlete with VERY GOOD Quickness And VERY GOOD bounce. He was the number 1 pick and he averaged 20 and 10 as a rookie for a reason and he was a Power Forward.
Sullinger at 6'9 is not only undersized but Has UNDERWHELMING QUICKNESS, UNDERWHELMING ATHLETICISM AND UNDERWHELMING BOUNCE and IS FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES A CENTER, NOT A POWER FORWARD.

6"9 is the average height for a PF, please explain to me how that is "undersized" :birdman: Kenneth Faried is "undersized", Paul Milsap is "undersized, Jason Maxiel is undersized, if Sullinger turns out to be 6"9, he will just be average.

You clearly don't understand the term "from the same mold", his game is similar to theirs.

SO Don't compare sullinger to two guys that are better athletes and were more skilled NOW and COMING Out of College than he was bro just because they have the same frame. Stop looking at nbadraft.net measurements and thinking its the end all be all

How exactly was David West a better athlete or more skilled? Dude couldn't even play his first two years in the league, it wasn't until he worked on his mid-range shot that he took off, because he didn't have the length or athleticism to finish over or through people at the rim.

38% on jumpeshots rookie year
43% on jumpshots second season
47% on jumpshots 3rd season

That is the progression David West made on his jumper, that is what made him the player he is. The fact you say Jared is a "center" for all intents and purposes is a joke, the nikka tried his best to be Kevin Love this season, shooting 3s and shyt, he is a PF through and through.

David West, Boozer and Sullinger are all on the same tier athletically, period. I'll only give you Brand, since it was his reach that made him different.

and as someone who watched Perry Jones in HS, I pray to god that he won't be another Anthony Randolph but... :yeshrug:

He is risk vs reward, he could be a huge disaster, but I'd take the risk.

I am going to go out on a limb and counting on everyone having good workouts my top 5 picks if draft positions hold.

1.Bobcats-Davis is first pick no matter what.
2.Wiz- Thomas Robinson I think he is a workout warrior type
3.Cavs- Andre Drummond- Works out and potential grow behind Varejo
4.Hornts- MKG
5.Kings- Barnes

you're on base with teh Sullinger and West comparison in that Sully can improve, but trying to be Kevin Love and being effective at it isn't the same thing. So I'll give you that.
And you conceded the Brand.

Bro Derozan is not what he's hyped up as. And like you said in the same "mold" with regards to their skillset, athleticism and actual play on the court. And Nick YOung fell in the draft compared to where he was projected as well :dwillhuh: ...

Perry :manny: I want him to succeed but I just see something missing in him but you could very well be right on this one and i hope you are

MIDRANGE GAME-YES
POST FOOTWORK-YES
FINISH WITH EITHER HAND DOWN LOW- YES
GREAT HANDLES FOR HIS SIZE-YES

DON'T GET ME TWISTED WHEN KG FIRST CAME IN THE LEAGUE, APPARENTLY HE WAS ON SOME SMALL FORWARD shyt AND WAS OBVIOUSLY MORE ADVANCED THAN DAVIS IS NOW (WHO IS JUST GROWING INTO HIS BODY) BUT I DON'T SEE ANYTHING THAT A PRIME KG DID THAT MY YUTE DAVIS HASNT SHOWN FLASHES OF DOING

Fam, watch Nick Young play some more, he makes Demar look like he went to Harvard. At the very least, Demar up until this year didn't try to do things outside his comfort zone, Young however seems to think he is Kobe. Their games really aren't all that similar, Demar is more 18 feet and in, Nick is 19 feet out.

Perry :manny: I want him to succeed but I just see something missing in him but you could very well be right on this one and i hope you are

There's a high chance he'll be a bust, but at worst you end up with a dude that comes off the bench and gets you 8 and 5.

reread my initial post b , I never said their games were similar. I just said that In the same way that Demar was considered talented Nick Young was considered talented. When Nick was in Washington puttin up 17 on 45, there were dummies who were saying that he could be that go to option that he isn't, and that's teh same way I feel about derozan

His offense is crude, he has a good base just because he's coordinated and agile, but KG as a youngin was a monster and would have shaved Anthony's brow at mid-court.

Anthony Davis is converting 67 percent of his 2-point attempts, with the majority of his touches coming off cuts, offensive rebounds, fast-breaks, and pick-and-rolls.

According to Synergy Sports Technology, only 20 percent of Davis’ offense comes off post-up, spot-up or isolation plays.

Davis is shooting just 27 percent on jumpshots while connecting on 71 percent of his free throw attempts.

Anthony Davis Generating Majority Of Offense Off Cuts Put Backs - RealGM Wiretap

Basically someone else is doing all the work for him to score, plenty of guys show flashes, hell Drummond had some where he was scoring for himself in the post. It's a matter of can they consistently do it at the next level.

I hope the Cavs can get Thomas Robinson and finally get rid of Antwaan Jamison

The Cavs need to take Drummond, don't make the Valanciunas mistake again.

Davis is not similar to camby at all on offense. Davis is waaaaaay more advanced

If you wanna compare Davis to a 4 who could put the ball on the floor, he's more like bosh than kg

And yeah zilla is right, Perry has all the tools but he just don't have it.

A lot of yall compared MKG to iggy. Iggy is a waaaaay better athlete, he's actually an undiluted west African.

Davis has a good base, I think he'll end up being a PF, and I really hope the Bobcats do not get him. Dude will be ruined by that franchise.

Who is your top pick after Davis?
