Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
We'll see what Jonas does this year. I was kinda mad at the pick too and wanted them to trade down for Burks or Klay Thompson.

Now I know they're rebuilding and aren't gonna be very good for a while but the Cavs have no clear plan for filling out the wings. They have ONE injury prone, undersized 2 guard on contract. I have a problem with taking another player that can't create his own shot, it puts an awful lot of responsibility on Kyrie's shoulders. I thought we were done running the team like that.

Normally I would say take BPA but it's not that simple this year. Varejao is only getting older and we still don't have a reliable wing or post presence going into the 3rd year of rebuilding. Cavs will regret missing out on Beal.

When it comes to Beal vs Drummond, I'd take the 5, in this instance we're not talking about a all-star or superstar level wing player, he has solid 15ppg scorer written all over him. Where as even if Drummond doesn't develop you at worst have DeAndre Jordan/JaVale McGee type of hyper athletic guy that can defend. He's already shown that he is very difficult to get around defensively on the pick and roll, and in a league dominated by pick and roll to have a 6"11 270lbs big guy that can step out and defend it is golden.

Also, Beal might make the Cavs a little too good too soon, they could get stuck in that hole the Rockets are currently in, too good for a quality pick but too bad to make the playoffs. If you need a wing that bad, try and buy a pick and take Quincy Miller to play the 3.

I agree its a damn shame you gotta take some chances.. You can find a Beal or Barnes in most drafts a guy like Drummond while he can bust can also be a beast down the line.

Exactly, even if Drummond doesn't develop into a star you still have a 6"11 270lbs big that is mobile enough to defend.

What if Beal doesn't develop, or can't get his shot off in the NBA, then what.

Is it anywhere in this thread page wise(if so could somebody link me) but what is special about drummond? Is he comparable game wise to anybody in the current L? Is his ceiling gonna be high or is he pretty much just another big?

NBA Draftnet has him compared to a younger Amare I don't see that I see a Deandre Jordan with a softer touch and more agility side-side. He still shot 29% from the free throw line but his form is legit and he is in great shape. Pretty much all muscle. The question is his heart/effort and if he's coachable.

The only thing I heard about this dude during the college bball year was that he was dumb as rocks or lazy as shyt so that Deandre comparison is spot on. Just thinking about this dude is Washington has :why: part two written all over it hilarity would ensue.
