3-5 years from now he could be the best big man in the league, and dudes talking about taking a 6"3 SG over him :shaq2:

Yeah, could be a bust but there hasn't been a center that big, that coordinated and that athletic in a minute.

What makes him better then Jordan or Mcgee?

Davis and Irving can be argued

I'm using my imagination as if Irving played all year and Valanius is being drafted and will play this season.

They tend to always go big over small unless that small is a top 10 in the league talent.

MKG. Is going to be just like Andre Igi without his shot. He will be a lockdown defender who will fill the stat sheets. He is worth a lotto pick but not top 3.

if they redid the 2008 draft, deandre jordan and javale mcgee would be a top 10 picks

drummond is so much more advanced than deandre. i don't get it

I think if Kyrie got a full year at Duke he'd be an overall #1 even over Davis. Kyrie finishes at the rim like Rose, he's got a better J than Paul and with better teammates could get 8-10 assists a game.

i dont get the Hype over MKG i think at his best he'll be a great role player

He's starter quality but you're right he's a little over-valued. His ceiling is Gerald Wallace.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
What makes him better then Jordan or Mcgee?

For starters, he's much stronger (lower body) than both of them coming out of college, he has a much better base then either of them and gets much better post position when he actively tries to. The red flag though, is that he doesn't always try and seemingly doesn't realize he's stronger than the dude guarding him. He's got the mind of a sniper, but is driving a tank, he wants to be finesse when he should just use power.

In terms of physical -

McGee was 241lbs
DeAndre was 250lbs

Drummond just lost 22lbs and is 268lbs, if he played his freshmen season at 290lbs he is a physical freak of nature, more so than either of those guys. I mean right now he's essentially bigger than DeAndre Jordan, while being just as athletic and with a frame that can clearly get up to over 280lbs. Whoever gets him has to send him to a big man camp and get him an assistant to work on playing big, he clearly wants to be a 4 in my opinion.

And, I've said it before he could be a huge bust, but the potential to be the best center in the league is there as well. You could never say the same about DeAndre and McGee. It all depends on where he ends up and how much coaching he gets, I think he'll be a bust in Sacramento, Charlotte or Washington, his best bet is Cleveland or Portland.

Damn, not again.

:heh: @ MJ because he actually has to make a decision again. If he got the No. 1 pick and Davis turns out to be a bust, then he wouldn't get as much heat cause everyone agreed he's the consensus top pick. Now, he has to choose between five players and if he gets it wrong, just adds to his lore of being a terrible evaluator.

I'm not feeling MKG that much either, but around here at the moment, seems to be the guy most people want. I like Thomas Robinson the best out of this bunch, but I don't like him paired next to Bismack Biyombo. I think I'm going to jump on the "Draft Andre Drummond" wagon and hope they bring in a solid coaching staff here

smh weren't people saying that Rudy Gay was a poor man's Gerald Wallace and was why Bobcats didn't pick up Rudy. Rudy has done quite well for himself, so that Wallace comparison to MKG ain't bad, but I think MKG will be a really good 2nd or 3rd option with the right team and have a really good NBA career imo.
