Austin Rivers to replace Mayo

I think I already went into my concerns with Rivers, but as for Ross, he's improving on his weaknesses and he deserves props for that, but that Washington team should have been so much better than it was. What the T'wolves could use from the wing is a very good shooter who can also be a secondary ballhandler if need be. Ross can shoot, but he's below average at dribbling, and that's gonna hurt. Rubio was excellent as a passer, but as a team they were still near the bottom overall. It would be nice to get another guard that can facilitate for himself and for others if plan A (Rubio) can't get the best look. I'm still iffy on Jones, but for now I'd rather look to upgrade SG via trade if Derrick's still here (with Derrick we have 4 starters pretty much set)
Welcome home 'mouf! When did you get out?

Eh, I think Rivers could be molded into what you're looking for, one on one breakdown moves are hard to find from the 2 right now and he's easily the best in the draft in that regard. He can be taught to shoot the 3 better, and his decision making could improve with age. If he turns out to be a legit 6"4 and he's still available @ 18 I don't see how you can't pick him.
Outside of getting Eric Gordon, what 2's are available on the trade market that can do what you're asking for?

Lou Williams, even though he's a midget.
Adelman's system is predicated on ball movement. Rivers averages more turnovers than assists and he'd be joining a team that needs a secondary facilitator. They're not gonna set up Rivers to be isolated just so he can get his shyt off. The team that picks him has to be prepared to feature him on offense even though he's not a great finisher or free throw shooter (he gets to the line at a good rate)
