Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I think I already went into my concerns with Rivers, but as for Ross, he's improving on his weaknesses and he deserves props for that, but that Washington team should have been so much better than it was. What the T'wolves could use from the wing is a very good shooter who can also be a secondary ballhandler if need be. Ross can shoot, but he's below average at dribbling, and that's gonna hurt. Rubio was excellent as a passer, but as a team they were still near the bottom overall. It would be nice to get another guard that can facilitate for himself and for others if plan A (Rubio) can't get the best look. I'm still iffy on Jones, but for now I'd rather look to upgrade SG via trade if Derrick's still here (with Derrick we have 4 starters pretty much set)

Eh, I think Rivers could be molded into what you're looking for, one on one breakdown moves are hard to find from the 2 right now and he's easily the best in the draft in that regard. He can be taught to shoot the 3 better, and his decision making could improve with age. If he turns out to be a legit 6"4 and he's still available @ 18 I don't see how you can't pick him.

Outside of getting Eric Gordon, what 2's are available on the trade market that can do what you're asking for?

idon't see him getting past phoenix. I think rivers is gonna suprise ALOT of people. He was considered a top 5 pick before the college season began........and lets not forget that he was playing in a "SYSTEM" thats more team oriented.....he'll be good for a team that drafts him to be a 2 guard.

Every thing I've seen or heard indicates rivers going to phoenix. With a kid like him there has to be some pulling of the strings in effect. I could careless about his weaknesses right now when he has star potential off his name and image alone. The NBA needs him to go to the "right" team whether it be the suns or the celtics.

Lou Williams, even though he's a midget.

Adelman's system is predicated on ball movement. Rivers averages more turnovers than assists and he'd be joining a team that needs a secondary facilitator. They're not gonna set up Rivers to be isolated just so he can get his shyt off. The team that picks him has to be prepared to feature him on offense even though he's not a great finisher or free throw shooter (he gets to the line at a good rate)

Yet you think Lou Williams moves well without the ball???

Lou Williams needs the ball in his hands as well, and he's become a better 3 point shooter since he entered the league. A lot of the issues you have with Rivers were the case with Williams when he was younger.

The Spurs system is predicated on ball movement, but still has 2 guys that can get their own when the need arises. It's a lot harder to find a player with Rivers skillset than it is to find a guy that can just stand in a corner and wait to shoot the 3, or sometimes initiate offense. Getting him and working with him to become a better shooter would make your team more dynamic in the long run and would give you someone that you toss the ball to and say "Get us 2" when Adelman's system craps the bed in the 4th.

If he's really 6"4, he will be a big problem in the future.

I'm cool with Anthony Davis if Charlotte gets the 1st pick, but I'm kinda hoping they end up with pick 2, 3, or 4 or trade down and land MKG.

Everybody in this thread knows the Warriors are gonna get fukked with no vaseline tonight. It's almost comical how bad our luck is.
