If they draft Embiid I think they're going to hand him the keys, and if Kyrie doesn't eventually get down with the program he's gone.

You take a center with the top pick you're automatically making them your franchise player.

As of now I don't think Embiid is a hand the keys over type...it's still Kyrie and Waiters team....Embiid will be a project who I'm not expecting big things from until his second season.

He's conducting himself like the beta male he is. Not gong to the combine. Refusing to work out for certain teams. Stating a preference to play for the #3 team in the draft (who does that?? oh that's right, beta nikkas).

His whole conduct during the draft process has left a bad taste in my mouth. For such a supposedly 'great prospect', the guy just irks me. Wish he wasn't hyped as much as he is/was, so he can go do his thing, but he is so he's got to deal with posters like me calling him out. That's the way it is sometimes.

I don't usually agree with you but on this one truth.com

If you draft Embiid it is his team, they will do everything they can to accommodate him and build around him moving forward. Also, he's not a project big, those guys require you to teach them simple things and build their game from the ground up. Embiid has to refine his game, gain confidence and get stronger....he already has the base that project bigs need to be taught.

Don't expect anything big from him for atleast 3 years, centers take longer to develop.

Anthony Davis did all of the same shyt (and Wiggins hasn't stated a preference to play for anyone in particular, that's just word from the people close to him, not Wiggins himself)

Davis was the known #1 pick I wouldn't work out either

I want the Wolves to end up with James Young. The team has needs at all positions but I think wing players make or break teams. We have to get offensive production out of them and they need to defend. I like him over Stauskas on defense. Stauskas is better offensively now but I think Young can finish and if his shot improves, he'll be a starter in the league for a long time.

He's working out for the top 3 teams. You do know Parker & Embiid aren't working out for teams below 3 either but that doesn't fit your Anti Wiggins narrative. Oh yeah they didn't go to the combine either. He said on Numbers Never Lie he'll play wherever. Mitchell is the one who wants him in Philly.

I mean he's a top 3 pick...I have no issue with him not working out with any ole team that comes calling...but it's also a lot of misdirection this time a year so who knows what's really going on.

Dante exum probally has a promise and I hope his ass slips past 4 I don't believe his hype. But if I'm a player and pretty much know which range I'm being picked in I doubt I'd work out for any team that isn't in that range.

Orlando probably has the most interesting decision to make. The word was last year they loved Smart and now it's that Hennigan is high on Exum.

I'd be on some have them compete 1 vs 1 against each other... The same I'd so with Randle, Vonleah, Gordon....I wonder if teams still do that.

A few organizations did do that a few years ago. I remember hearing about T-Rob & Drummond playing 1 on 1 and Beal vs Barnes.

I'd bet that smart would eat exums lunch...but scouts do this for a living and have more info on exum...I just like smart because he seems to play with heart and wants to be good...he doesn't suffer from bytch-itis like Wiggins

I don't care for him much cause I'm a KU fan. But dude always plays with heart and you at least know he'll stay in the league just off his ability to play defense alone.

Yeah with exum I really just don't know...I saw damn Ennis play more time than exum and that was only 2 times.
