Pelicans need to make sure they surround Davis with some legit people ASAP

We don't want a repeat of KG in Minnesota......or do we?

The fact that this type of shyt is being brought up TWO YEARS into Davis' career is why some organizations will never get a chance to build it correctly.

First of all, the team immediately trades for an all-star PG the year after Davis debuts, they have good young cheap players (which allows you to spend freely on other things), all in all, letting Robin Lopez go and drafting Rivers have been their only true screwups meanwhile we already got a championship countdown on that team

What are these tragic mistakes they've made outside of the ones I mentioned. The Pelicans are pretty far advanced given that's it's only been 2 years. There shouldn't be much pressure on that team right now. Pressure is what leads desperate front offices to make ridiculous decisions.

So were going to act like Holiday wasn't an allstar PG and that last years draft was horrible? The Pelicans should of been in the playoffs. But they had injuries and were in the West.

I'd trade waiters, Thompson, #1, next years #1 for anthony davis and that wouldn't be enough.

He was an all-star, yeah, but I always thought dude was just numbers and not much else. He's always been the new age Devin Harris to me

No homo I like him he's a big pg who plays good defense can score if asked but is also a good passer...I can't knock this trade because I thought they'd be a playoff team.

I recall Devine Harris having 1 good season but that was almost 7-8 seasons into his career.

I am neutral. I am not big on trading McLemore for SAC or ATL trading Dennis at all. BUT...
If there was a trade that would help both teams, this would be one.

I don't know if Mac has more value than Knight but I value McLemore more.

Only it was expected that Leonard would be a 3 in the NBA. Gordon, we don't know what he'll be and while Leonard's improved his offensive game, Gordon's gonna have to do much of the same. I can't envision Gordon doing to guys like Aldridge, Love, Griffin, what Leonard's been doing. I don't see that being his future.
