That scares me and what I been thinking. But like you said things rarely go according to mock.

Randle would definitly go 7th and Philly would probably have a very difficult decision between Saric and Gordon at 10

I've seen a mock where Smart falls to Sacramento, a team with Cousins and Smart together would be must watch

I'm on the fence with Randle but 6 on that list before him I am not:sadbron:

For the Lakers I would...

1. Embiid(no chance)
2. Exum(slim)
3. Wiggins(no chance)
4. Vonleh(slim)
5. Parker(no chance)
6. Smart(maybe)

Randle and Payton seem likely...Lakers could move down to get Payton,

Gordon I don't care for at that pick and with what state the Lakers are in right now.

I'm not sure I'd want Gordon anywhere near Kobe

He's not a tough kid?? He'd do all the little things but the Lakers need so much more. He's be great for team like Houston and G State who need a couple of pieces to really compete for it.

I don't think Kobe will have the patient to watch Gordon develop if it's gonna be something over the course of a few years. I think the Lakers are taking whoever drops between Smart and Randle. I've seen the interest in Payton but I wouldn't take him at 7.

Maybe they trade with Chicago for a big man (Boozer or Gibson) and the 16th and 19th pick?

Yeah Kobe's going to be tough one to deal with the next 2 yrs...I hope for that Bulls deal for 16 & 19 but doesn't that hinge on the Bulls trying to clear space for Melo?? I would love that deal...we need a lot.

This Exum Hate :banderas:

I'd take Smart over Vonleh every day, twice on sunday.

I think Vonleh is gonna be special, I dunno about Marcus Smart. He should have a fine career, but I question whether or not it will be more impactful than Vonleh's.

Of course alot of it depends on where each of them goes.

Anyway...the Sixers were SO secretive with their workout of Wiggins yesterday that they actually had to APOLOGIZE to the media afterwards for a lack of availability (which was CLEARLY designed).
:heh:

There's not much out there, these Brazilian players may as well be big foot when it comes to scouting. He's listed as a PF on a lot of sites, but from the little I've seen of him he looks like a SF.

Yeah, he's played 4 for some lower level teams, but he definitely is a small forward. I was wondering if somebody who kept up on Brazil's development might have a little info. Definitely has good length, seems to have good instincts and decent shooting form... but beyond that, it's hard to tell from what I've seen.

Good looks.

Well, don't worry then.

If Wiggins falls to 3, Sixers try to move up from 10 with Thad Young to take Randle/Vonleh/Gordon right?

Yeah the rumor is that they are targeting the Kings' #8 to do this because the Kings have been steadfastly adamant about NOT wanting the #8 pick and instead wanting to add a veteran player.

Now....who will be AVAILABLE at #8 is a different story.

I hope the Sixers DON'T take Randle. I think Gordon has more upside and projects better long-term. Something about Randle's "bully ball" game that worries me, dude can't just think he's gonna come up in the league and start pushing nikkas around like that. That WAS his game in college....does that translate well over to the pros, though?
