in Bill Simmons and Chad Ford podcast, I think Chad is saying Embiid also has sme issues with his bloodwork

"It's at the 6:31 mark. He basically says "I think there's some bloodwork issues as well. It's not uncommon for athletes who grew up in Africa to test positive for hepatitis..." mentions Anemia too

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Not to Wiggins.

Brewer was and is a string bean. Wiggins is stronger though he avoids more contact that Brewer. Brewer simply wasn't a good enough shooter (and now his defense has turned to shyt)

Wiggins is definitely more toned. But everything else is spot on as far as strengths and weaknesses.

I just thought it was interesting to hear that comparison.

I'm listening to the podcast now and :snoop:. There may also be more wear and tear on his left knee because he had been compensating for the stress fracture in his right foot plus his back.

How did this guy not feel any foot pain?

If the Sixers are going to take either Dante Exum of Australia or Marcus Smart of Oklahoma State like many project, they are going to have to figure out what to do with their current point guard, Michael Carter-Williams.

One of their options? Ship him out West.

According to Chad Ford of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in acquiring Carter-Williams, and could be willing to part with No. 7 overall to do it. Here is what Ford had to say on the Lakers' mindset:

The Lakers have been very active in looking for veteran for their pick. Players like Klay Thompson, Michael Carter-Williams and Thaddeus Young are all interesting to them. This is a team that wants to win now. Randle or Smart could help, but a veteran will even be more ready.

Ford went on to report that the Lakers have a "strong" interest in a potential trade of Carter-Williams and forward Thaddeus Young for the No. 7 pick and point guard Steve Nash.

Needless to say if the Sixers did the deal, it is unlikely Nash would ever suit up for the Sixers. A move to trade Carter-Williams would likely be about landing another lottery pick, and allowing whichever point guard they do take -- whether it be Exum or Smart -- to flourish in their natural role.

I just don't see that being the best return PHI could get.

Put MCW in this draft and he's still a top 10 pick. Thad's got 2 years/19 mil left which is about market value for a player of his caliber.

That'd be a steal for LA :ehh:

i agree. but philly can draft exum and come back and draft randle if they believe they can be better than young and carter.. plus for them to have nash there for a year to teach exum they'll be cool

i just want nash off of our books. plus adding 2 good players compared to 1 u'll be blessed.. i just hope philly willing to do it

getting rid of Nash for Thad, who would easily be their 2nd best player immediately and the healthiest and 25 years old

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Is he really trash?? I haven't really been able to watch him play to really judge his talent. Where would you rate him with the other guards in the 14 draft??

The guards aren't that strong in this draft, but he's definitely behind Smart, Exum and you can make a case for Payton as well.

I only watched MCW for one game against the Suns, but I walked away extremely impressed.

As a Suns fan, he caused me a lil concern out there.Seemed like he was all over the court getting steals and penetrating our D.

I don't get why the Sixers are so eager to trade him.I think he'll be an all star level player at the minimum.

He has the proverbial "it".Watch him go to the Lakers & fukk around and develop into an all time great
