that's the only conclusion i can get to, is that cousins would be going to cleveland... rondo to sacramento... number 1 pick to boston
cousins getting traded would be a shocker to me tho but he is a difficult person to deal with so maybe they're tired of it

Because you'd be hard pressed to send rondo to a sacramento team without Boogie.

there was a report on twitter and i forget who and i don't feel like looking it up but i'm sure @red222 can confirm where it says that boston, sacramento, and philly were the finalists talking to cleveland about the #1 pick
then there was a post that said sacramento wasn't necessarily talking to cleveland about getting the #1 but rather they were part of a multi team trade...
combine that with the rondo-sacramento rumors and the celtics trading up to get #1 rumors and that's what i've come up with
but cousins is really the only person of value that sacramento could offer to get the #1 pick

Maybe the Sacramento owner really does love Rondo as much as I've been hearing
Maybe Cousin's is a huge pain in the ass
Don't forget, just two days ago, Sacramento was supposedly going after Josh Smith... aka Rondo's best friend so they could be planning on bringing him aboard as well

Cleveland is not going to trade the #1 without getting a high quality current NBA player.

I don't know their cap space situation, maybe they'd have enough to sign Gortat? Can't imagine Washington would do a Thomas for Gortat sign and trade
