I'll keep it 100. If the Lakers were picking 3rd and both Exum and Embiid were available, I'd want them to pick Exum. Embiid (healthy) was #1 on my list. HOWEVER, those injuries are a HUGE concern. Only reason I'd take Embiid at 7 is because at that position he's worth rolling the dice.
the guy may never play 82 games in a season. he could be the next Oden or Sam Bowie. with a future HOFer available like Exum at 3, I'd take him without hesitation. at 6 or 7, thats when I'd roll the dice cause I'm not high on Randle or Smart's long term projection.
