That's why I think Cam is either the #1 or #2 greatest SEC QB ever. I mean this dude did not have an all star team. Mike Dyer and Nick Fairley were the only other notable guys on that team. With Tebow, you still had Percy Harvin, Pouncey twins, the Killer, Spikes, and Dunlap.

Speaking O-Lines though, this recent Bama O-Line really made me miss the 2012 one. Now you're probably thinking "well you had a 2,000 yard rusher and a 1st round O-Lineman" but mannn that 2012 line something special. Barrett Jones, DJ Fluker, Chance Warmack, Anthony Steen, and Cyrus Kouandjio were some straight up monsters :whew:

Yeah that's one thing that really seperates Bama when it comes to FSU we just can't get right with the OL most other positions FSU/Bama pretty even well besides LB that position been kinda fazed out in recent years on our D.

and even they did running the ball. that veer was unstoppable. they weren't throwing the ball 35 times a game. power running is the key to winning. power running and a QB who can be a threat to throw down the field and not make a dumb throw is how you win offensively. ain't shyt changed

Gotta watch that Clemson/Auburn game from that year again I remember being crazy in love with my GF at the time and watching end of that game with her at a Mexican joint. Man Clemson stay blowing games in that era Auburn should've been out of the hunt that night.

So PSU has 5 guys drafted from a class of mostly sanction recruits. We haven't been winning as much as we used to obviously, but whatever else you say, that is a sign of being a legitimate traditional college football power. Can't imagine many other schools going thru that and still putting 5 guys into the NFL

PSU always have the talent on defensive side of the ball it's sad how crummy the OL product they put out has sabotaged PSU from taking that next step. I don't keep up with PSU recruiting like that but has Franklin made that a big priority I mean 4/5 star type priority PSU OL's been dogshyt well before the sanctions came this goes back to end of Paterno's run as well.

I'll definitely say that y'all overachived based on everyone's assumption that y'all would be Colorado status by now. Especially with guys like Silas Redd leaving for USC. But yeah, what Penn State has done is pretty impressive considering the circumstances :ehh:

PSU got too much old money to fall off like Colorado  all things considered PSU came out like bandits compared to other schools that took hits. If Franklin could actually get his offense together (OL) PSU could contend but PSU got a raw deal getting stuck with a red hot OSU and Harbaugh in same division. :francis:

PSU probably would've won a few more games if they stayed independent :leon:

Yeah joining the Big Ten didn't go as planned the way the old folks were talking back in 92/93 they were acting like PSU was gonna punk OSU and Michigan out and be the top dog. Penn State been soft since Michigan came through and crushed the building in 97 they tried to play tough in 99 but they got sonned at the end of the regular season and really haven't been "Penn State" again. I know they had a big year in 2005 winning the Orange Bowl but they weren't no title team if they played USC or Texas that season they would've got rolled by 4 TD's shyt FSU should've beat them in the OB game that season and FSU was running on fumes at end of the year.

:whew: been many, many years since i was so hyped about michigan football

Yep probably most hype going into a Michigan season since 03-05 era if I had to guess. People forget the 2006 Michigan team came off a 5 loss season they weren't expected to be a title contender like that Michigan is a legit title contender I remember last checking the sportsbooks Michigan was 3rd on the board when it came to NC odds.
