I'll paste my post from the recruiting thread about our QB situation.....

Get ready to hear Luke Del Rio being the starter going into the spring as well as the talk of "he was soo impressive last summer, that if he was eligible, he would have been the starter" talk...and then remember this is the SAME news outlets reporting that Treon was looking good and was neck and neck with Grier going into the fall too so I take nothing being said about the QB position this spring, summer, and fall as nothing much than coach and media speech. Not buying into our passing game until I see it improved week 3 on the road at UT.

I'm hearing that they want to redshirt both Franks and Trask and roll with Del Rio as the starter with the Purdue grad school xfer Appleby as the back up or vice versa. Basically them two.

That's why i'm hoping that Franks can come along in the spring and summer and challenge for the job in the fall. Yea he's raw as grits, but our first 4 games are against UMass, Kentucky, North Texas, at Tennessee. We'll be 3-1 going into the LSU game with Del Rio or Appleby anyways so it might as well be Franks and let him go through the grind and figure it out. 5-2 at worst going into the bye week before UGA is my goal
