Not fearing Florida has to do with recruiting. They have not recruited under McElwain the level of talent they did under Muschamp. Florida used to be a perennial top 5 team in recruiting. They are now in the 11-15 range. Considering the fact Muschamps recruits all left for the NFL in 2017, its natural to expect a drop off coming.
I personally think Florida goes 7-5 this year and finishes 3rd in the East.
They simply don't have the talent they used to. Especially on defense.
