Speaking of Chip, got me thinking; who's gonna be the next college coach to make the jump to becoming a first time NFL coach? I wonder with how comparable colleges pay and now with a playoff system in play, making it "easier to get in position to play for the natty title than years past, is the NFL as tempting for college coaches like it use to be.

I think at this point David Shaw would be #1 on the list.

Reminds me of the year we had zach Mettenburger with Jarvis Laundry and OBJ balling out but our defense was bad that year

I think we will be fine in the front 7. Our pass rush HAS to finally step up because we havent had a damn dominant single pass rusher or pass rush since like our 08/09 team (Carlos Dunlap). I do suspect a youth movement in the secondary where by the end of the season, 3 true freshmen will either be starting or playing A LOT of snaps. I expect to be a top 15-30 defense but not top 10.

Offensively, we're hella talented and experience. Just need Franks/Zaire to be even the slighest bit of consistent and the offense better be putting up 35 a game....hopefully

Got that itch so ive been watching all Michigan games from last season and i cant believe these nikkas won the Big Ten.

I knew we were gonna blow these dudes out so i took my girl hiking that day and just followed the ass kicking on my phone.

Duke Dawson, Chauncey Gardner, Nick Washington, Jeawon Taylor is a pretty good secondary. Y'all LB and DL depth is what's looking weak. Florida will still have a good defense though and their offense should be much improved

Duke is hella experienced (seems like he's been there FOREVER) and Chauncey came on the last 4 games) but we're gonna need depth to emerge their and year our front 7 depth is still sketchy.

Watson offense was weak sauce Teddy made him look like he somebody and even then trash

Yep. That was Strong's downfall though. He brought Watson along like it wasn't Teddy who made that offense go. Set him back two years at Texas.
