It's funny how you can't state the obvious about what a pathetic organization the Mets are once you leave. And injury prone, 12th most innings pitched over the past two years. His WAR last season is equal to Porcello and Wacha's past 2 seasons combined. We brag about how good our starting rotation is and now suddenly wheeler stinks, even though he was our second best starter last season, but now stinks. The past two years in MLB Zack was 18th in ERA, 9th in FIP, 25th in XFIP 24th in WHIP, 9th in WAR. Those aren't mediocre numbers, those are the numbers of a legit number 2 starter. Also going to a bandbox, Zack was 5th in soft contact generated, and has the 4th lowest hard contact generated, I wouldn't worry too much. And after 30 years of fandom, and 20 years of Wilpon majority ownership, yes, Jeff,a guy with only a GED and never earning a fukking thing in his life, torpedoing a franchise saving deal was the straw that finally broke the camel's back with my fandom.
