10 games in and multiple games/cities getting cancelled, postponed, etc. No fans, our team looks lifeless. I mean you're being a contrarian just for the sake of being a contrarian at this point

I told my boy way back in may-june when the season was looking very unlikely to happen the following:

No matter if it's 81 games or 60 games...whatever the MLB decides to implement, in that brief span of games the Mets are bound to squeeze in their typical absurd and heartbreaking moments. Within the first week and a half they've already blown a 6 run lead on the road against the division frontrunner AND had a player opt out who they weren't on the same page with at all, leading to the annual PR circus.

I honestly didn't expect what I said to my boy to manifest itself so damn early though. My goodness.
