Plus he actually did rebuild the farm and left it in great shape, several of his picks are not only contributing but are some of our best players. It's not Sandy's fault that Brodie has traded away tons of minor league talent that are contributing on big league teams are close to it.

The problems I had with some of his moves (or lack thereof) probably were a result of his marching orders from the Coupons, like letting Reyes and Murph walk. I think Steve is going the route where he's not trying to blow everyone away with his checkbook, but he's definitely going to pay top dollar for the best minds and let them cook. And if at some point that means going all out for a player, then he'll do that.

Can't judge off what the prospects have done so far imo but it definitely has potential to look very bad but time will tell.
