A's might not be able to make up for the loss of Bassitt, he was easily their most steady starter. SP been falling apart already

Y'all got a tough stretch. i'm pissed these fools ain't gaining no ground because they been in a mini slump. I would love to get at least a 5/6 game lead. At the end of the year it's A's/Rays/A's to end the year. I want a little breathing room going into those series.

These MLB injuries and covid losses for contending teams startin to remind me of the nba a couple months ago
I’m thinking not having a full season last year is affecting players with injuries. Now covid is another thing. That new strain is out on a rampage. I don’t even want to go to MMP anytime soon now.

The Mets have one of the worst farm systems in the majors. It's incredibly top heavy. It's why Scott/Alderson blowing this year's draft hurts even more. They could have at least got mid level talent. That was the first time in over 40 years that the Mets hadn't signed their first rounder.
