so we got byu vs notre dame this week...outside it being air raid vs whatever offense notre dame runs, why don't the media or whatever church system hype it up like 'catholics vs convicts' (ND vs Miami) like with 'mormons vs catholics'? do these people have bragging rights for whose religion is better for the rest of the year like any other rivalry so that's why they schedule each other? there's other religious schools that are reduced to an acronym like SMU for methodist and there's a lot of southern and mountain time zone schools that are super religious yet selective, so it's just a bunch of christian asian people who go to Rice, where these football teams don't reflect the lack of diversity of the student body at all, and these people automatically assume you play sports, marching band, or is an affirmative action student once you get on campus, etc, but imagine being a student athlete and you have to change religions in order to assimilate and talk with their ideology in mind just to take their course load and play football and still get heckled by the entitled student body just to 'perform' for them, smh. if it wasn't for the money and the bragging rights at stake, let these fools in the crowd play football for themselves and see how much they get beat up, torn down, and embarrassed, or make a new conference with just religious schools
