You giving up your best prospects for either pitcher who will be fa’s next winter? That’s my whole point , the orioles gave up a mid package for a former cy young winner

Max Scherzer is a big name but he was mediocre last season and it's hard to put a lot of faith in him in 2025.

Max Scherzer is a big name but he was mediocre last season and it's hard to put a lot of faith in him in 2025.

He really should retire. The only real numbers he can probably eclipse this season is 3500K's and maybe 225 Wins. Which aren't bad for book ends if you ask me.

Same with Verlander a solid shot to get the 3500K's milestone, but he'd need a pretty strong year to get to 275 Wins.
