Robinson Cano missed out on 3,000 hits. I know he fizzled out his last few years in MLB and also had those suspensions, smh. He was 361 hits away.

Fangraphs has the dodgers with a 98.2 % chance of making the postseason
Someone on a podcast said that since 2000, only 6 times has the team with the best record actually won the World Series.

It's something to take with a grain of salt, but I suppose the idea is....it's no guarantee the Dodgers will win the World Series in 2025 (though they DID have the best record and won it last season)

Should have never left the Yankees.
I was torn at the time.
I thought he should have stayed, but 200 million or whatever he got from the Mariners was just impossible to turn down.

I don't know if Cano ever spoke about the negotiations publicly but I would love to see him talk about it.
You would assume Brian Cashman was a snake during the negotiations the same way he was with Bernie Williams and Derek Jeter. Hell if Steinbrenner didn't get involved, Aaron Judge would be gone, too.

I'm a little surprised that Luis Gonzalez finished his career with 2,591 hits over 19 seasons.
