Baez and zambrano my favorite cubs ever

Zambrano has 24 career hrs and dude use to hit rockets. That was my dog ,I watched his no hitter from start to finish on channel 9. That was 2008 last cubs no hitter was 1972
That's ...really?

If you asked me who threw a No Hitter between Prior, Wood and Zambrano I would never guess Zambrano.

I'm trying to think of other good Cubs pitchers in the 80s and 90s but I can't think right now. Maddux aside, obviously.

I was looking at old Cubs pitchers and remembered Rick Sutcliffe.

I was gonna ask what happened to him? I used to see him on TV all the time.

Then I realized he probably still is on TV.
I just haven't watched much ESPN in years.

Yup, zambrano threw a no hitter vs the Astros at miller park in Milwaukee September (I think 14th) 2008

It was a cubs “road” game but the Astros couldn’t play in Houston cuz of hurricane ivan I think was the name.

Then arrieta had two and Alec mills(who sucked) threw one

I miss pitchers hitting :mjcry:

I do and I don't.

If they never watered down Interleague play I would still be higher on Pitchers hitting. But, when basically every day is an interleague matchup there was no reason to keep the Pitcher hitting in just one league. And there was no way the AL was going to roll back the DH.

But, not going to lie shyt like this was great

Yo that crowd was live AF tho.
Even in Milwaukee I wouldn't expect so many Cubs fans. That was dope.

Also I don't remember that SS at all.
Mark DeRosa in RF. There's a name I haven't heard in years. Lol

Mad cubs fans be At Milwaukee games. Cuz it’s a 90 minute drive from Chicago, Miller park is called “wrigley north” brewers use to open up tickets for cubs games only to Wisconsin fans for a window before cubs fans could buy tickets a few years ago cuz they were getting flooded by cubs fans :pachaha:

Ryan theriot he was aiight , then he signed with the cardinals and talked shyt about the cubs said something like “I’m finally on the right side of this rivalry” :camby:

I don't think Mark Prior had a season for the Cubs where he wasn't on one of my Fantasy teams.

I thought dude was going to be a GOAT
