& He’s one of the worst 3b defenders in mlb according to drs

Devers said he was promised the 3b job by bloom when he extended. Alex Cora basically said :whoa: “that was the old regime we’ll talk about it” .bregman will be the starting 3b
Realstically he should give it up. Devers is trash at third dude moves mad sluggish. However, a promise is a promise lol.

One of the most bytchmade commissioners in sports. At least Stern was a respectable jerk. This smug POS needs to be jabbed repeatedly by kangaroo

Yea I saw, gotta read Marchand’s article why he changed his mind on calling MLB games again. He made it clear in interviews last year that he had little interest in calling baseball again.
Because he sucks and he gets enjoyment out of making everyone suffer.

The GOAT, Wade Boggs is cancer free :salute:

... and I'm taking this as an opportunity to remind y'all that the most he ever struck out in a season was 68 times.

Lifetime batting average of .328 :myman:

I don't know if there are any personal scandals around Boggs. So if there's some story that he said some MAGA shyt recently, I'm not aware of it. Just talking baseball only...

But growing up I thought he was the American League Tony Gwynn. Boggs was really a great hitter even without the Fenway Park advantages.

It's strange how many of those great 80s hitters are relatively forgotten these days. People rarely mention Boggs or even George Brett. Kirby Puckett. Robin Yount...

Disclaimer: I am not aware of Boggs and his politics :hubie:

This is the stupid version of the A-Rod and Jeter shortstop debate.

The difference is that even though Alex Rodriguez should ABSOLUTELY have been the Yankees shortstop because he was better than Derek, the Yankees never allowed it to be up for debate because Alex knew before the trade that playing 3B was a condition of the deal.

As a Yankees fan, I'm happy to see Devers at 3B. Any move that makes the Red Sox objectively worse defensively is great for me. But Devers has now lost any ground to stand on as a leader. He's selfish and he's petty.

So why are the starting 1B and the most beloved player in franchise history supporting him? :gucci:
