There's "something" missing from this Illini team.

Haven't seen such a lack of melanin on an Illini basketball in all my yrs and I was born & raised in Central Illinois

Peoria stand up

Underwood is not a great coach...he's a solid coach and good recruiter/talent evaluator/talent assembler, but illinois' offense seems too obsessed with 3s but they don't hit them at a good clip. They've been out-rebounded in EVERY game this season too.

In the words of Lavar ball

Realistically you can't win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow

UConn will either play dumb and/or Hurley will slow the game up on some high school shyt and allow Illinois to stick around, I've seen this script before
did I not say this would happen, it's like Hurley doesn't realize that the computer metrics matter, why do you stop running offense when you build a lead

4 point play is a dagger, but you're right, UConn's half court offense stopped flowing like it was earlier. Illinois finally hit a couple 3s too, but too little too late. UConn is just more talented and better coached.
