Underwood is not a great coach...he's a solid coach and good recruiter/talent evaluator/talent assembler, but illinois' offense seems too obsessed with 3s but they don't hit them at a good clip. They've been out-rebounded in EVERY game this season too.

Marquette will probably be in the NIT, still have 2 opportunities left in the non-conf but they're road games vs Wisc and Purdue, they're probably not winning them and the Big East is trash this year and won't provide many opportunities for quality wins

Weber was a great coach lot of respect for those mid 2000s MSU vs Illnii games... don't forget about Self but I guess he wasn't there long enough..in today's day and age, Self might stay in Champaign.

Illinois has missed 13 three point attempts in a row...yet they keep taking them every possession. They're not even offensive rebounding well either. They have all these Serbs on the team, you'd think they'd have some post ups with interior passing and cutting, but their offense is so predicated on 3s. To make matters worse for them, Uconn is scoring in the paint at ease in the half court.

whenever i watch college basketball esp these small teams im shocked it seems literally every team at least got one 7 footer

Kim English getting fired after this season, took over a stable program from Cooley that regularly made the tourney and Providence spends bread on NIL. He got the right mix of portal/HS recruits and they've underachieved so far.
