If the Dodgers aren't aggressively pursuing Tucker, Yankees should be all in on him. Putting him in that lineup with Judge would be deadly.

Of course we're gonna pass and resign Bellinger :francis:

I think Tucker would be an overpay but it needs to be less of a concern for large market teams like the Yankees.

They’re SUPPOSED to overpay for the good players, because they have the money to do it.

What they’re not supposed to do is settle for value.

It’s like if you’re playing Fanduel. JaMarr Chase might be expensive and cost $9,000. Wan’Dale Robinson might only cost $6,700. He’s great on a point per dollar basis. But he’s still just Wan’Dale fukkin Robinson. Eat the money and get JaMarr Chase.

But you know Brian Cashman is gonna do some stupid shyt like sign Max Kepler.

Cashman doesn't operate that way. He has a dollar amount he sees in you, and he won't budge from it. Unless Hal steps in. And I don't know if this will be a case where Hal steps in.

Ultimately I think the Yankees just end up bringing back Bellinger. Which I won't hate, but I don't love it either. Tucker is better, and the reasons for choosing Bellinger over him are dumb

Bellinger was better last season and there's only a one year age difference. It's not that bad of a move honestly.

He played better because Tucker was hurt for half the season. When healthy he was clearly the better hitter. And if you look at the past 3-5 year span, Tucker has been better.

Pete could have somebody to speak English with, but they would have to move Nimmo to make it work. Maybe it might make more sense to poach schwaber if they want to spend big money. It'll mean 3 or 4 years of Pete in the field but that lineup would be insane

Tucker is better than Bellinger, but not 400 > 150 million dollars better
