This is the same ownership group that was rumored to be more than 200 million dollars away from where Skubals representatives were. That's some inept owners. They're banking on getting a haul from him at the deadline, and they don't realize how much leverage they're losing.

When Japanese players are posted they get 45 days , meanwhile it’s January and 6 major fa’s still not signed and some won’t be signing til pitchers & catchers are reporting. They’re holding up the market

This 4 months waiting game is annoying , all free agents should be signed by January 10th or get Duolingo & learn Taiwanese buddy

I don't like it. Let the market move at it's own pace. Let's say the deadline is 1/1.

What's to stop owners from not speaking to anybody until 12/23 knowing that the player gets punished financially for not signing by 1/1. Tucker, for example, might go from 5 years 300 to continuous 1 year contracts

24 hour sports networks can wait.
