Skubel is definitely getting traded. They didn't want to pay him 32 million for this season but have no problems with 50 million for Valdez and Verlander. I can't see him making it to the end of this season.
Hopefully, they get that surgery done ASAP. Also looks like he wouldn't have played for PR anyways.
Outfield defense makes way more sense now.

Glad they didn't allow him to play in the WBC even after Bad Bunny took care of the insurance issue. I wouldn't want to hear the hot takes if that news came out after playing.
