Can we do away with Conference Championship games now? They are unnecessary in the expanded playoff era.
Georgia literally has nothing to gain and everything to lose playing in the SEC championship game.
While Texas A&M is still likely to get a home playoff game as a reward for losing to Texas.

Lane needs to stop trying to get everything he wants and just leave. Tell the team it’s just business and move on. ACC needs to tell Duke they can sit their ass down because they as a conference can’t risk them winning and no one getting in. Miami takes their place and you hope for something like last year where you get both teams in. Again make business decisions.

The last time a P5 conference did not have a conference championship game was 2014 and two teams were screwed
plus the money it generates for those cities that host, and the tv contracts aren't going anywhere
