There is no such thing as clutch. You perform to your level and with enough sample size things will even out.
The same way you hit .220 for one month and then hit .400 the next month, is the same way you get a “big” base hit in the 9th today after striking out in the 9th yesterday.
This is proved across the board in all sports with enough sample.
Probably nobody has more postseason ABs than Derek Jeter so his sample size is among the most reliable. And in the postseason…which people consider a clutch time of year…he hit .308. Compared to the regular season where he hit…310.
