Nobody here deserves to get in honestly.
:manny:
yeah I don't think anyone on that list is a HoF'er. I think Hamels and Kemp have enough name recognition and no scandals to stay on the ballot for a bit. But, they ain't going in. Everyone else is one and done I think.

Here's the most recent results

Ichiro Suzuki: 393 votes, 99.7% (1st year on the ballot)
CC Sabathia: 342 votes, 86.8% (1st)
Billy Wagner: 325 votes, 82.5% (10th)
----------------------
still options:

Carlos Beltrán: 277 votes, 70.3% (3rd)
Andruw Jones: 261 votes, 66.2% (8th)
Chase Utley: 157 votes, 39.8% (2nd)
Alex Rodriguez: 146 votes, 37.1% (4th)
Manny Ramirez: 135 votes, 34.3% (9th)
Andy Pettitte: 110 votes, 27.9% (7th)
Félix Hernández: 81 votes, 20.6% (1st)
Bobby Abreu: 77 votes, 19.5% (6th)
Jimmy Rollins: 71 votes, 18% (4th)
Omar Vizquel: 70 votes, 17.8% (8th)
Dustin Pedroia: 47 votes, 11.9% (1st)
Mark Buehrle: 45 votes, 11.4% (5th)
Francisco Rodriguez: 40 votes, 10.2% (3rd)
David Wright: 32 votes, 8.1% (2nd)
Torii Hunter: 20 votes, 5.1% (5th)

Looking at that list and the guys that are eligible for 2026. I think Andruw Jones is finally getting his deserved call. Beltran is probably getting the bump in as well. Don't think anyone else is going to make a significant jump.

Royals just destroyed the Blue Jays 20-1 at home tonight in the first game of a three game series between the two teams. With a win, the Jays would have officially clinched a playoff spot but it looks like they have to wait until tomorrow night to punch their ticket for the postseason.

42-year old Veteran pitcher Max Scherzer had a rough start against KC, he allowed 7 runs in the bottom of the first inning. He was pulled from the mound and didn’t play the rest of the game. His night was over after that terrible first inning. But the royals hitters still feasted on the blue jays bullpen, scoring 13 more runs and having 27 base hits in the game.

I Remember former Expos manager Buck Rodgers when he used to say that every year, all teams in Major League Baseball will win 25% of their games, and will lose another 25% of their games, it’s what they will do with the remaining 50% of the games in their schedule that will make or break their season.

All teams regardless of sport snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Close Undeserved wins and close bitter losses are part of life and sports itself. Teams also Win and lose games for different and multiple reasons. The Blue Jays lost their three straight games ( @ Tampa bay rays, @tampa bay rays, and tonight @ Kansas City royals ) because all their most powerful, consistent and productive hitters are in an offensive slump at the same time right now and struggle to even reach the bases. And the Jays batting lineup is lacking both Bo Bichette and Anthony Santander, two of their best hitters, because the latter two still suffer and recover from injuries.

It’s easy to blame Kevin Gausman for Wednesday’s loss, Chris Bassitt for yesterday’s loss and Max scherzer for tonight’s loss, but when the bats don’t give enough run support to their pitchers, it puts pitchers under uncomfortable pressure and forces them to be perfect every game , which is impossible to do.

Most of their lineup has come crashing back to earth. They aren't playing over their heads anymore but the front office fukked them over at the deadline.

Instead of cashing in some prospects to make a real push for the World Series, that arrogant prick Scott Harris is holding onto every prospect worth a damn so he can try to win with "his" guys, who won't be up until 2027 for the most part.

Pretty much all the best players on this team are still Avila guys.
