Brian Cashman is somewhere like Yankees fans stay hating on the guy and yet the team he constructed wins 94 games








Speaking of Cashman, one of the realest things he ever said is baseball playoffs is a crapshoot. I'm looking the wildcard round and any of these series can go either way In the NBA and NFL playoffs first rounds there's usually some teams that have no hope of winning anything

If he realized they needed a shortstop and a third baseman coming into the season this team probably wins 100-102 games. They spent half the year with Oswaldo Cabrera and Oswald Peraza playing third. For a while DJ Lemahieu was playing 2nd despite being bottom 15% in sprint speed and having the weakest arm in baseball so they asked Jazz to play 3rd base which made them worse at 2 positions and probably cost them a couple games. That’s the difference between being a wild card and the #1 seed. Simply realizing that you can’t punt on 3rd base and shortstop for 5 straight years . The last good hitting seasons they got out of shortstop and 3rd were 2018 and 2019 respectively. They’ve gotten 1 good defensive season out of shortstop since 2020.

Dodgers should beat the reds, but I already know Dave Roberts will rushed to the bullpen

Padres and Cubs will be my favorite series to watch in the first round

Tigers will beat the guardians this time around.. i like to see the Guardians win, but their offense is shyt outside of Ramirez against playoff pitchers

Yankees and Red Sox i can see going all 5

Wild card series is best of 3, not 5

I’m objective, good to see Suzuki breaking out and pca hitting a couple hrs along with Busch killin shyt ,but this offense got shut out 1-0 twice by mid reds pitching

Padres bullpen & starters way better , but they struggle vs lefties so idk

Their record before the all star break saved them at the end. They were better in the half of the season than in the second half.
