Yes that was an awful call in that spot. Definitely changed the complexion of the inning

Side note - GM 1 was electric in that stadium, I was so jealous watching it knowing my Mets were already on vacation. All my friends that aren’t Mets fans are Yankees, Phillies, Cubs and Dodgers fans. I feel so left out

the pen aint really needed when the starters can go 7+
and you have kersh/glasnow/emmet to pick up after an other

yama coulda went 8 at least but teo fukked it up for him in the 1st

snell is snell… he can go7/8 easy

ohtani is going to push himself to 7/8 minimum
especially since its 1 ps start… obly way i dont see that happeneing is if they get on him early which i doubt… he had a no hitter against them a couple weeks ago

only reason he aint go 6+ his last start like planned is because he was sick… and still struck out 8 with 0ER
