Well Atlanta is in a bit of a bind.
They’re 9.5 games behind Philly.

AJ Smith-Shawver might be done for the year.
And Spencer Strider still isn’t looking like his old self.

They still have a better than 50% chance at making the playoffs but they’re gonna have to go on a run pretty soon. Atlanta needs a month where they go something like 18-8.

They have 7 games against the Mets in June. And 3 against Philly. They have to win each of those series, I think.

Alright Braves fans how short is the leash on Iglesias? Dude seems to give up a run every outing. He's not really getting any K's. How close is Lee to taking over the closer role?

Snitker said he's not taking Iglesias out of the closer role. Compared it to the season Will Smith had in 2021 when the Braves won the World Series.

Cubs need one more starter a 1-2 before I can say they’re real, gallen been awful , alcantara been even worse.

@god shamgod I’m in your hood July 31-Aug 6th. Def going to the Orioles Cubs Friday at 1, but I’m also eye balling the Reds series if you want to come kick it. My parents (mom from the Chi) will be there as well as a couple cousins for the Friday game. The reds game I might be there solo or have one of my Aunties that’s local come with me.

I’ll always have love for Chicago, as long as they don’t face my Houston sports teams

I spent every summer in the 90’s split up there between Chicago and STL. Know the city like the back of my hand.

My dad’s side (STL) is pulling the Milwaukee arm down to the Chi for a good ole family reunion. I’m not missing my chance to double dip in one of the greatest cities to be able to see both sides of my family nearly simultaneously.

Mets-Rockies this weekend at the stadium

These bums still haven't gotten their 10th win of the season, and if the Rockies turn into the 1975 Reds at any moment this weekend I'm gonna come in here and swing at somebody

We need to pad our record with these bum teams, I wanna see grand slams, cycles, Soto going 7-for-7, I want a perfect game too
