Skubal hasn't thrown over 100 pitches in a single start this year. :unimpressed:

He went seven scoreless today and was utterly dominant and Hinch pulled him after 90 pitches. That bum Brieske gave up a run in the eighth. :unimpressed:

Stop babying these pitchers. :hhh:
I'm sure a pitcher of his stature has some say so. If he wanted to go deeper all he had to do was ask.

Pardon my ignorance, as I haven’t been watching baseball as closely, but aside from Skubal how have the Tigers become such a strong team?

I know the made noise in the playoffs last year but it is mostly the farm players finally coming in after all those terrible seasons?

A bunch of guys producing offensively this season. Baez reemerged to be solid again, Tork remembered how to hit, Torres has been a rock, Dingler came up and has been really good.

Instead of having five or six black holes in the lineup, they have guys who can hit up and down the lineup.
