Pardon my ignorance, as I haven’t been watching baseball as closely, but aside from Skubal how have the Tigers become such a strong team?

I know the made noise in the playoffs last year but it is mostly the farm players finally coming in after all those terrible seasons?

I was wondering who the last catcher was to hit 40 HR in a season. I thought it would be some guy from the steroid era in 2005.

It’s Salvador Perez hitting 48 HR in 2021.
Who the fukk remembers that shyt? Perez hit 48? Is that a glitch in The Matrix?

Surprisingly, I would have remembered that. Saw a tweet this morning that Raleigh is on pace for 61 HRs. I doubt that happens tho.

He must be the best hitter in mlb since thats all it takes is to hit a lot of homeruns
