This was Ohtani best pitch when he was a cy young contender. Now Yamamoto got the best split in the game
Picked up edward Cabrera because he had been pitching pretty well the last month and because he was pitching against the Twins today. What a pathetic offense

Well they’ve had a gigantic skid since, I think they are 7 out heading into the midway point and not a bunch of moves to trade that I think they can make.

But getting Alex Verdugo for Mookie Betts is one of the worst trades of the century.

It’s funny how teams will hold onto a player only for them to bust.
I seem to remember in the mid 2000s the Yankees refused to consider trading Jose Tabata because they thought he might one day win a batting title at the major league level.
He wound up being traded to Pittsburgh in 2008 for Damaso Marte and Xavier Nady.
Cashman really has a horrible track record.
