Naija / DMV
Rumours of Tunisia pursuing Chelle post tournament. If true, I think he's gone. Likely a higher salary and a World Cup appearance as well.

Only way I see him taking the role is if Naija gets bounced in the SFs.

Tunisia has a WC appearance but let’s be honest, those dudes arent going to do ANYTHING at the WC; we saw it this AFCON. Tunisia qualifies for tournaments but can’t bust a grape when they get there. He’d essentially be taking the job just to coach this WC.

If he wins with Naija, there’s the ‘27 and ‘28 AFCONs to look forward to with this squad and by 2028, WCQ would have started. To add, outside of Morocco, CIV and Senegal, Nigeria has the deepest NT pool.

Would he rather manage the likes of Osimhen, Lookman, Iwobi, Onyedika or the likes of Mahmoud, Mejbri and Talbi….

Not all things are about money (granted NFF is paying his salary). He has a bigger platform with the SE.

Without a doubt the Nigeria team is the more promising one but there are rumours he wasnt getting his salary paid on time with SE. If that and other backroom theatrics are true, you can easily see why he'd jump on a potential salary jump and World Cup platform while it is still available for him. At the least the NFF will have to step it up and re-negotiate something to keep him around.

If Nigeria win the Afcon, FIFA will accept their appeal against DRC and put them in the intercontinental tournament.

FIFA are corrupt as shyt. So Chelle won't be leaving if they win the Afcon:pachaha:
