incredible show is incredible :wow:

i really enjoyed The Night Manager the other night, but this is just God Level television

I like The Night Manager a lot, but compared to The Americans it's a comic book hero origin story.

A multi-talented guy :wow:

Elizabeth shytting on EST and laying the shyt down with Paige. Then smacking her agent over the head with a bottle. She was ruthless this episode :damn:

I remember that David Copperfield shyt (I think) :flabbynsick:

The 7 month jump :patrice:

What happened to Martha? :lupe:

Side note: Why aren't Claudia and the old guy handler speaking in Russian when they're together? It just seems odd:jbhmm:

not to sound like a feminist, but liz is one of the most bad ass people on TV right now

Liz don't fukk around and it's good that she's starting to regulate. Phil caught it tonight and so did Paige, deservedly so because they are straying. Paige damn near blew up the whole operation with this Paston Tim bullshyt so she should be on a tight leash for the rest of the show or get an after school job washing out vodka bottles in the Residentura.

Their son flies under the radar because he's has the attention span of Kelly Bundy, so he might as well keep up the ignorance is bliss role.

I

I guess the point was to show that for the last 7 months the Jennings family has been living a fairly normal life and that's all coming to an end starting the next episode.

Also I think it was to illustrate how Phil and Liz may have had a bit of a break these past few months, but Paige has still been putting in work especially after Liz got in her ass . It's taken a big toll on her because she isn't built for that lifestyle at all.

The almost wordless cold open with Martha was great :wow:. The actress who played that character really shined these last few episodes. Silence speaks volumes in a lot of the scenes on the show.

My man Gabriel at his wits end trying to handle the couple :francis: + :martin:.

I hope during that 7 month stretch that they took the kids to Epcot :skip:.

Lisa talking about going to the police :snoop:

I like how they dropped in the Kimmy reference with Phil dropping off the tape to Gabriel :ehh:

Stan going to try and turn Oleg now :lupe:

I don't think they shot her, especially since they had the scene where Oleg had the convo with Tatiana about her being in Cuba and on her way to Prague. I don't mind them not mentioning her anymore though, since she had such a devastating goodbye scene. Better to imagine that she learned Russian and didn't end up alone :sadcam:.

Lay it Down Liz ethered Paige, EST and Filthy Phil's feelings.

We see where Hit Em Up Henry got his bottle smashing skills from.

I didn't know Gabriel had pull like that.

Liz: You think they'll agree to this?
Gabriel: I'll make sure they do :smugfavre:

Paige had to realize that her snitching was gonna cost her something.

I don't think so. When Liz had dinner with the family, I'm pretty sure her husband was there eating at the table with them. Plus her kids looked pure Korean. I think Gad just has an Asian wife.

Lay it Down Liz indeed, dear lord :damn:

Perfectly put breh :wow:

A time jump was also needed because they couldn't keep Liz and Phil going at the rate they were without them imploding. And 1 or 2 episodes of them "on vacation" would've been filler anyway so they just skipped it.

It also works kinda like a midseason finale by ending the Martha storyline and re starting with a "new" FBI operation and Paige being completely miserable.

Yeah, saw he directed it and immediately went :wow:

My guess is that they want to keep the russian dialogue to a minimum. They can say Claudia and Gabriel speak in english just like Liz and Phil do it when they are alone - as they are all cover agents - but at the end of they day it's most likely because they don't want to scare more gringos who don't like to read subtitles :francis:

Having said that. I fukking love those scenes with Claudia and Gabriel, they are short but have a lot of power imo.
