I still don’t get what people didn’t like about Endgame.

Maybe it didn’t live up to some of y’all overly high and unreasonable expectations but this was still a great movie and one of a kind. This isn’t Jonah Hex or Catwoman

I love the MCU, I consider myself a hardcore stan. Watched every movie multiple times(except EG & CM)...but let’s call a spade a spade. shyt wasn’t that good.

The last battle wasn’t even that dope.

Ok, but to break it down into something tangible.

The expectations was or should’ve been like being at the base of the Himalayas and trynna climb to the top of it like “we should be able to get there.” Which is achievable and which is what they did.

Some of y’all expectations was like just standing where y’all are with a rope/ladder looking up at Mars in the sky with the same expectations of the Himalayas, then unreasonably disappointed when you couldn’t get there

Then it’s like some you few that try to trash it, never really articulate why y’all think it’s bad or what could’ve made it better.

I always hear shyt like “it’s trash, I don’t know why, that’s just what I think”

This is dope. Hell yea I think vision was nerfed. I don't remember shyt he did except so far expect talk and wear sweaters. No stand out scenes like Strange in IW or Cap in Endgame

In all fairness, there’s been a coli logic with a few films where the entire movie was dope and people unanimously loved......

... then the final battle or moment come and maybe the film stumbles on the ending a bit and folks turn on the entire film completely.

So if we finna go on “well the end was dope” then well done and destiny fulfilled

For me personally, I love both IW and EG like a parent of twins loves both their kids.

Both have similarities and differences that work for them.

And both give me something different and unique

So them making hulk n thor jokes were good? Basically recaping the mcu was better? Showing Black widow dying was better than gamora? There wasn’t any tension in EG like that it’s average at best.
